This group has started to feel more and more like family this year, which is why we are gathering in the backyard of Adam Hughes, our team’s heart and soul.

Here’s everything you need to know.

The Plan

2pm - Doors open.

We will have a fire burning, space heaters outside, and some lawn games for your entertainment.

4pm - Pizza arrives.

We’ll order enough Domino’s for everyone. The bounty will include some gluten free, vegetarian, and dairy free options.

5pm - Bandit Trivia.

Attendees will answer questions about their teammates, Bandit history, and local running lore.

What does the winner get? The person with the most correct answers gets to create a race that Bandit Racing Team will host in 2025.

6pm - Project Moonshot Retrospective

What To Bring

Adam and Brent will be providing the vibes, pizza, and firewood. Here’s what you need to bring, in order of importance:

1 - A donation item for Secret Santa Society of Ypsilanti.

Bandit Racing Team will be collecting gifts for this nonprofit that helps local families in need by offering support during the holiday season. Please bring at least one item from their Wish List to the party. Items will be dropped off to their headquarters the following day.

2 - Bundle up!

You can warm up inside, but festivities will be primarily outdoors. Dress code this year is warm and cozy. Also, you might want to consider bringing your own lawn chair. There is bench seating on Adam’s deck, but not enough for 30+ raccoons.

3- All Partners and Friends are Welcome

To quote our Woo TC friend, Jeff Aspinall, “more friends, more fun.”

4 - BYOB

Anything in the fridge / coolers outside will be fair game. If there’s anything special you want to drink, you should bring it. There’s a good chance that Adam, Brent, and Chelsea will have a spare joint for you to share if that’s your thing.

5 - Sweet Treats

If the spirit moves you, feel free to bring a dessert to pass.
