Why We Love This One:

This “race” is actually a trojan horse tour of Ann Arbor’s amazing trails. We also like the cost, which is FREE.

After climbing about 972’ of gain, runners finish are greated with fresh donuts from Washtenaw Dairy at Ann Arbor Running Co.

Pro Tips:

The first set of trails by the cemetery is the most technical and challenging. Once you get through the Leslie Nature Area, the terrain becomes much easier to navigate.

A couple hundred trail enthusiasts come out every year to party with AARC and Altra. We strongly recommend partnering up with a friend to follow the blazes left by Mike Andersen & co. If you are feeling particularly techy, you can always load the .GPX file in your smart watch.
