Bad Decisions Track Club
In their own words…
Origin Story:
The brainchild of some long-distance trail runners, a poorly housebroken graphic artist, and a strong desire to not pay dues just for someone to tell you how fast to run in a circle (thanks Mid-Michigan Track Club for setting a high bar of no dues + great organization!) BDTC's inaugural run was a balmy 8F, much lower windchill, Underdown hill repeat. Sunset Rd was too icy and even Bad Deciders occasionallymake good choices.
What Makes Your Club Unique?
It's free (see above), our logo is an auto-cannibalizing turtle burger, and we sometimes make you do lunges in the middle of a track workout. Beyond not taking ourselves too seriously, we try to intersperse consistent and quality speedwork with fun, whether it be our annual banquet and awards or hill repeats on a hot day next to Barton Dam for a dip afterwards.
