1. What's your favorite place to run in the Ann Arbor area?

I can't resist a good Ann Arbor trail run, specifically connecting Bird, Argo and Leslie trails together. But if I'm sticking to the roads, you can find me in the Barton Hills neighborhood gawking at the beautiful homes.

2. Post long run cravings?

Pop. Usually Sprite or Coke (and I'm not a big pop drinker in general). The sugar is so satisfying after a long run. In the food category, I can inhale a hearty egg, meat and cheese bagel sandwich post-long run.

3. Craziest thing that's happened to you while running?

I got charged by a moose in Colorado (shortly after this photo was taken). No joke, feel free to ask me for the full story on a run sometime. Definitely the biggest heart rate peak recorded on my Garmin mid-run.

4. Do you usually run solo or with a group?

I always prefer a group. Definitely a social runner through and through.

5. Show you are currently binge watching?

Stranger Things. I know, I'm behind the times. Re-watching the first two seasons so I can finally see the 3rd and 4th season.

6. Who is your running hero? (can be past or present)

Molly Seidel. Her bronze at the 2020 Olympic marathon was so inspiring to watch!

7. Person you run the most miles with?

Currently, the core Bandit crew and especially Olivia de Bear right now. Lifetime, definitely my long-time friends Sarah Krawczyk and Alli Reid.

8. Famous person you would most want to go on a run with?

Hmm hard question. Maybe Des Linden? She seems so down to earth and I feel like I could have a very meaningful but also entertaining long-run convo with her.

9. Current goals / race you are training for?

I'm training for the Detroit Half Marathon in a few weeks! Trying to just enjoy the process with this one.

10. PR that you are most proud of?

The 2022 Bayshore Half Marathon (1:26.21!). I trained so hard for it and during a very difficult time in my life. I could not have been more proud of myself with how I ran that day and how I approached the race mentally. It also helped that I had a great support crew out there cheering me on.
