1. What's your favorite place to run in the Ann Arbor area?

I like Huron River Drive, and the loop around Bandemer park.

2. Post long run cravings?

I'm a fan of smoothie or pancakes. Sometimes crepes at Amer's!

3. Craziest thing that's happened to you while running?

Not being prepared for the altitude when running over the Enchantments in Washington state. Going up Aasgard Pass I had to do some crawling, and the people I was running with told me that I stopped responding to them until I had sat down for a few minutes. We also saw a goat!

4. Favorite workout?

I think my favorite are track workouts. Depending on how in/out of shape I am I like shorter or longer distances/ladders. I especially like ones at Ferry field.

5. Show you are currently binge watching?

Most recently I was watching IT Crowd, not sure what I'll do next...

6. Conspiracy theory you subscribe to?

I like the one that Coke only released New Coke so people would hate it and then be excited when they go back to Coke Classic.

7. Do you have any race day superstitions?

None that I can think of. A friend of mine once ran a half marathon the day before his half marathon to "make sure he could do it". I guess I have a superstition that I don't do that. This might not be a superstition, but I don't wear the race shirt until after finishing the race?

8. Famous person you would most want to go on a run with?

Alive: James Acaster, less alive: Maybe Albert Einstein? I always see that photo of him with a bike, maybe he can run too?

9. Current goals / race you are training for?

I am "training" for Indy next weekend! I will run the half.

10. PR you are most proud of?

I think my 10k PR when I was a graduate student visiting Australia (Mikel likes to ask how many decades ago that was). I did a duathlon (run/bike/run), and started with a 10k (37:10). Then I blew up on the bike, and was toasted for the 5k. My 1k, 5k, 10k, and half marathon PRs are from that summer in Australia, maybe because they use the metric system?
